About us

My name is Pesca. Well — technically it's Francesca, but my dad started calling me Pesca the day I was born, and it stuck. Everyone who calls me that has known me forever. It's basically a password: if you know the nickname, you know me.

That includes Viola, my business partner since before we knew what a business partner was. She's the third member of our team and, frankly, the bravest one — no filter, no hesitation, and an uncanny ability to hold a room's attention, partly because of how she looks and mostly because of who she is.

We started "doing business" as kids, purely for fun, in Cortina d'Ampezzo — setting up little market stalls along the town's most famous promenade, where, despite being about four feet tall, everyone somehow knew us and took us seriously. Every summer we came back with something new to sell: one year it was friendship bracelets, the next it was hair ties made from fabric scraps salvaged from my dad's textile company. The products changed. The team never did.

Which brings us to the person who's been running production and quality control since day one: my mum, Angie. Twenty years in the Como textile industry live in her hands. I grew up surrounded by fabric too, and somehow still can't tell a good weave from a bad one — but she can, instantly, and she's spent our whole lives turning my vague ideas into things you can actually touch. Without her, this brand would still be a collection of voice memos and Pinterest boards.

And then there's me. I have the ideas — and the stubbornness to chase them. I studied law, mostly because when my dad's textile company closed, textiles stopped being an obvious path for me. But I grew up at his side in that business, and he gave me something no law degree could: an appetite for the world and an instinct for a good deal. From the time I was tiny until the company's very last day, he took me everywhere, introducing me to the biggest creative directors in luxury fashion — Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Chanel, and many more — and along the way, without either of us noticing, he built my taste.

He's not here to see this next chapter, but everything in it carries his fingerprints.

We're not trying to build an empire. We just want this brand to be an honest continuation of a family story that started fifty years ago — with my dad, then my mum, and now, on a much smaller scale, with me. Same roots. Same obsession with doing things properly. Just a little more mine.
